Seven municipalities make up the Province of Prato: Cantagallo, Carmignano, Poggio a Caiano, Prato, Vaiano, and Vernio. Prato is the main town, nestled at the foot of the hills, alongside the picturesque River Bisenzio. The Duomo is home to an array of fine art amongst which is the renowned pulpit of Donatello.
