Henderson Road

Splashes of colour

breathe life into

dreary cliffs

on an alien shore

I’m walking, enjoying the sun. Taking the camera for a Sunday afternoon jaunt. It’s a balmy day, early in the Spring. Bright, clear light, shimmering.  I’m aiming for a street in the industrial estate, past the skate park,  a few blocks from my place. I worked there once. Next door. Passed the graffiti every day. Hardly noticed. But today I will. Today I’m going to get up close and personal. Remove the blinkers. The sun’s right. And there’s a beautiful moon…
